Cosmic Getaway is the seventeenth story mission and only the second to feature EVE as a playable character. Unlike Taking Flight, EVE does not have a time limit, but has to stay close to Wall-E, who flies with the extinguisher from the Escape Pod. It takes place in space, outside the Axiom, most of the time inside space debris, partly covered in crystals from the inside.
Unlike other missions, this one is largely canon (there is nothing explicitly non-canon), though EVE did not chase after Wall-E in the film.
Story
After Wall-E escaped from the escape pod, he floats around uncontrollably and EVE has to chase him. After retrieving him, they dance in space, observed by Axiom passengers.
Gameplay
As stated earlier, EVE has to chase Wall-E and basically this is only possible by accelerating all the time. Like a lot of other chase/constant run missions, there is one alternative route to take inside a large piece of space debris; it does lead to the same area a few seconds afterwards though. The mission features thirty crates and no artifacts.
